From October 17, 2022 - October 21, 2022, we are hosting a prayer week for children's homes all across Romania.
We'd love for you to participate in it as well, from wherever you are. We'll send you the prayer prompts each weekday next week so you can pray for children's homes around Romania. You can register for the email prompts below.
The King Listens to Us
“I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me” Psalm 77:1.
What a privilege we have to make our requests known unto the King. Not the King of a country, but even better - the King of the world!
When a King would give audience, it would be said that the King gave ear. In other words, he would listen to his subjects and decide whether he would grant their request or not. This was done in the throne room. His subjects would wait alongside other subjects until it was their turn to speak with the King.
However, in this case, we get full access to the King of the world. We don’t have to wait in line, we don’t have to wait for Him to get in the throne room - He’s already there, waiting to listen to us.
This is what the King giving ear to us means. He listens to our needs and cares for us.
Find Refuge In God
Psalm 90:1-2: "1 LORD, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God."
Whenever you have trouble, go to God for help and guidance.
He always was, is, and will be. He knows everything that will ever happen, and nothing takes Him by surprise.
"And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors" Matthew 6:12.
Why are we to forgive others? Because God forgave us.
Unforgiveness is like a yeast. It grows, and grows, and grows, until you don't recognize yourself anymore. The only remedy is forgiveness. This is the only way you can heal. Don't worry about their reaction to your forgiveness.
"But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" Matthew 6:15.
Are you a Pastor or work at a Church? We're a small Christian ministry in Romania (started by an American man and his wife who's from Romania), and we're fundraising for children's homes that we are planning to start.
It would help us out a lot if you could fill out this survey for us! Also, please send this survey to other Churches that you know. Thank you.
Who's Calling You?
Exodus 7:11: “But Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers; so the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.”
What Satan does is counterfeit what God tells us to do. There was God giving Moses the power to perform signs and wonders in front of the people, but Satan empowered the magicians to do the same.
It matters, then, not only whether what we do is right or wrong but also who tells us (or empowers us) to do that.
Is God asking you to do something that you don’t want to do? He will provide for you, if it’s His will for you to do it. Philippians 4:19: “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
We are a new non-profit, founded right before COVID hit.
Our focus right now is on fundraising. We have a partnership with a Christian Maternity Center, Casa Mitspa, in the West of Romania, and we also are planning children's homes.
